THE POSITION:
As a project manager at the Japanese subsidiary of Syntegon Technology, one of the world's largest manufacturers of packaging machines for filling and sterilization in medical and food manufacturing lines, you will be responsible for meeting customer expectations in terms of product technology, quality, and delivery time, while also achieving the project's profit goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pre-quotation review of project costs and delivery time (with design and sales departments)
Confirmation of customer requirements (URS) and order contents and continuous follow-up (confirmation of scope of provision)
Project schedule creation and coordination of required resources between departments
Work with the technical department to monitor and confirm project costs, progress, and risks
Act as an effective interface with internal stakeholders and suppliers
Internal and external meetings as necessary (clarification of issues and communication to ensure project quality and completion)
Participation in meetings related to the project
Consistent involvement from machine manufacturing to delivery (visits to customers and suppliers)
Act as a liaison for various negotiations with customers from after order is placed to delivery
Report project progress to management
