Position Summary
The Stock Clerk is responsible for receiving parts from the stockroom to the assembly floor, fabrication department or to customers. This individual also troubleshoots incomplete shipments. This position assists in maintaining accurate inventory control and will be expected to perform monthly inventory cycle counts. The Stock Clerk should be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and should be able to work under minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Put away parts from the stockroom, including parts from supplier, plating vendors and parts from fabrication.
- Counts, sorts, weighs incoming orders to verify items on purchase order requirements, flags if incorrect.
- Receives parts for intercompany material requisitions.
- Receives parts orders for internal and external customers.
- Provides assistance on inventory accuracy duties; enters all shipped goods into the ERP system (SAP) and performs cycle counts on a periodic basis.
- Delivers material/packages within the facility.
