Responsible for managing, planning, directing and coordinating the spare parts business, achieving profitable sales objectives and the methodology in which to achieve that result. Responsible for top line and margin for spare parts.
- Spare parts pricing – analyze costs, BoMs, complexity of parts to ensure profitable margins
- Evaluate margins on a regular basis to improve overall profitability
- Maintain intercompany pricing database and validate quarterly
- Enter non-b2b parts orders from sister companies
- Manage return process for spare parts, approvals, re-stocking fees, etc
- Troubleshoot / investigate customer order issues – warranty, incorrect shipments
- Manage expedite requests
- Create recommended spare parts lists for project management
- Update material master data for obsolescence, programming needs, assembly needs
- Provide shipment data to installed base team
- Collaborate with global pricing team and global service hubs
- Initiate marketing campaigns to grow spare parts sales
- Coordinate fixed pricing with the service team to achieve quick quote turnaround, but maintaining profitable results.
