Management Accountant

As a key member of the finance team, the Management Accountant will drive financial processes and business performance, working closely with the finance director. Key responsibilities include:

• Prepare and maintain financial reports, including monthly statements, statutory accounts, and management information
• Manage costing information, work in progress, and inventory records to drive performance
• Oversee ledger activities and assist with internal and external financial queries
• Conduct detailed analysis of company activities, including R&D and warranty costs
• Deliver comprehensive project cost and sales margin reports
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting processes
• Liaise with external auditors and support the annual audit process

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in finance or equivalent
• Qualified chartered accounting degree (ACCA, CIMA or similar) or working towards

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage
• Strong accounting knowledge and analytical skills
• Advanced MS Excel proficiency; Excel VBA and Power BI understanding is a plus
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP solutions
• Excellent communication and networking skills
• Pragmatic, action-oriented approach with strong organisational abilities
• Team player who thrives in a non-hierarchical, dynamic environment
